Looks at the problems with development agreements as a vehicle for economic development and proposes participatory community mechanisms to make such agreements more inclusive.

Truthout: It's Time to End Legal Immunity for the Gun Industry. An op-ed regarding the legal immunity from public nuisance suits that Congress granted to the gun industry in the late 1990s. This immunity prevents states from going after gun manufacturers and distributors that knowing flood markets with guns that they know or should know will end up on the black market. By lifting this grant of immunity, states could curb gun violence without recourse to mass incarceration.
